4 days of june camp
i bloody missed 12 matches of fifa!
or rather 13
ytd night went to sis bf home
catch 3am match
i keep falling asleep
half time still no goals
lol
june camp is over
slept for 18 hours in total
i woke up at 4pm just now
june camp was sick
can i not talk abt it
well
first day
layout was killer
have to layout all personal equipment and group equipment onto a grndsheet
den the seniors will inspect
any wrong alignment is 1 mistake
my patrol had abt like 20 over?
for the first try
i lost count
my patrol manpower was 3 including me
1 sec 2 and 1 sec 1
the sec 1 was transferred over from stingray to my patrol
cos my sec 1 din came
pon i think
whatever
repeated layout abt 6 times
2 min to layout everything, 1 min to pack up
in the end my patrol pumped 200 plus

den proceeded to the campsite in the field
kingfisher's campsite was at the top right corner of the field
near street soccer court
campsite was 10m x 10m

haha
had catered lunch then began campsite development
you know the pitching of tents and building of structures and stuff
yah
my 2 juniors din know how to pitch the tent
had a hard time teaching them
tent was up in 40 mins
followed by kitchen shed
which looks something like

duno how to describe

its some kind of shelter to put yr stuff
den it was dinner
it was terrible
as usual my juniors do not know how to cook
i ended up with vermicelli soup with tomato hot dogs and crab sticks
or rather put everything in the soup and boiled them

patrol in counsel and patrol leaders committee
pic was like go talk to yr patrol how was their day and crap

den all 8 PLs have to go to 2k classroom for plc
where all PLs and seniors gather and discuss the campsite development, mistakes encountered and patrol performance
8 chairs at whiteboard in a row facing the seniors
just like a refuge camp

it was rather serious
just that some of us keep dozing off
PLs went to wash up at 12 and lights out at 1

2nd day
backwoodsman cooking
its just cooking raw food over a fire made from fuel of leaves and branches
menu was
roasted pepper chicken
sweet and sour pork and potato pineapple rice as staple
yah
sounds delicious
but taste disgusting
egg was provided too
but we din know hot to cook it
suggestion was to crack them inside the rice
by the way we are not supposed to use any pots and pans to cook the food
only branches bricks and concrete slabs
rice was cooked in a pineapple

in the end
the rice was burnt and not entirely cooked
some of the pork was uncooked
no matter whats the outcome
we still had to present to the seniors
pity them

finished up wif camp d aft lunch
completed gateway in time
gadgets done at night
dinner was pasta
haha
supposed to cook it dry with a sauce base
but i made soup pasta

taste okay
din die of food poisoning

first aid practical test aft tt in canteen
my patrol scored highest (:
den the usual pic plc and washup
lights out at 1
i din slp on 2nd day
had to finish the gadgets
until like abt 5
did them on the bench in the kitched shed
btw we're required to stay in the tent aft lights out
luckily i wasnt caught
haha
3rd day
woke everyone up at 5.30
pt at 6 den breakfast
aft that was pulau ubin hike
another hike like again

well trip to there was nice
chartered aircon bus to changi point
den took bumboat to pulau ubin
our only chance of resting in the day
hike was a disaster
my patrol completed 2/6 checkpoints
no patrols competed the hike
can guess how sucky the hike was
partly because of planning too
came back to ahs at 6
cooked dinner
pork chicken and cabbage porridge
lol
rather bland
no sauces and oil used
healthy mah

den it was first aid and scout lore test
everyone sat down in canteen with the paper script in front of them
something like exams
1 hour to complete
think my patrol got an average of 74.5%
hehe

whole of sec 3 PLs did not sleep that day
we wanted to do night sanctuary duty
prevent the seniors from taking our things

some of us started to take down our campsite
as the next day was stike camp
went to untie all the gadgets
4th day

immediately proceeded to take down gateway
followed by kitchen shed and tent
have to take down everything by 12pm
latest at 1
lunch was catered
jimmy tan treat
walls mini cornettos and soft drinks

we were told out individual patrol performance and ranking
ranking
all patrols was ranked by many factors
shall not go into that
the seniors told all patrols except mine, tiger (junle) and stingray(soon meng)
they told us 3 patrols that one of us got 1st and the rest 7th in position
a tie
wth lah
they said keep us in suspense
until our promotion sat
which is tmr
shit them lah
well we were then released at abt 2.30
sec 3s went to 85 to eat
missed the taste of civilisation

took taxi home aft that
reached hme at 3.30
bloody tired
slept until 1am like that
din take dinner
